Partly due to a busy work schedule, it has only taken me four months to finally complete my knitted scarf. Made from 50% Alpaca, 30% Merino and 20% Dupont wool, I’ve gone for chunky stripes in a blue and off-white colour.

Sparkhill Birmingham gets thrown in the limelight as this BBC sitcom follows the comedic happenings of one British Muslim family led by Mr Khan (played by Adil Ray). Also featured are actors Kris Marshall who plays Dave the mosque’s manager and comedian Felix Dexter, who appears as a Somalian Muslim.
